2026 Hyundai Verna Spotted Testing, Features Revised Styling

Hyundai is preparing the facelift of the sixth-generation Verna, which was launched in 2023. Test mules reveal several key design changes. Hyundai could launch the updated model in India sometime next year.

Design Changes

The images mainly highlight the sedan’s rear section with updated tail lamps. A full-width lightbar continues, now paired with redesigned internals. The bumper also features a squarer, sharper design for a refreshed appearance.

Front-end changes remain hidden under camouflage. However, Hyundai may adopt a boxier grille and angular headlights inspired by its global sedans. A sleeker, more muscular look is expected overall.

No Mechanical Changes

There are no expected changes mechanically. Buyers will have the option to continue with the 1.5-litre NA petrol or 1.5-litre turbo petrol engines. The facelifted Verna will compete with Virtus, Slavia, City, and Ciaz.

Interior Changes

The cabin could receive significant upgrades. The expected features include a larger touchscreen, a refreshed digital cluster, and an enhanced ADAS safety suite. Existing premium features are likely to be retained.
