Hero MotoCorp announced that it would pass on the full benefit of the recent GST reduction to customers well before the updated rates came into effect on September 22. From its wide portfolio, the Xpulse 210 receives one of the steepest cuts of up to Rs 14,516, depending on the variant.

Hero Xpulse 210 price after GST
Closest rival Kawasaki KLX 230 now at Rs 1.84 lakh
The Hero Xpulse 210 was earlier priced at Rs 1.76 lakh for the Base variant, while the Top variant cost Rs 1.86 lakh. Following the revised GST, prices now stand at Rs 1.62 lakh and Rs 1.71 lakh, respectively.
Both variants use the same 210cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 24.6hp at 9,250rpm and 20.7Nm at 7,250rpm. The Top variant differentiates itself with a TFT display and gets dual-channel ABS instead of the single-channel system on the Base variant. It also gets added equipment like knuckle guards and a windscreen, which make it slightly wider and taller.
The price reduction of over Rs 14,000 now makes the Xpulse 210 an even more exciting proposition than before in the entry-level adventure segment. That said, the competition has also tightened, as the Kawasaki KLX 230, after benefiting from both localisation and GST-related cuts, is now priced at Rs 1.84 lakh.
All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.
