President Donald Trump on Friday threatened a “massive increase” of tariffs on Chinese goods and said he sees no reason to meet Chinese President Xi Jinping, as the two countries are at loggerheads over critical minerals and other issues.

In a post on his Truth Social network, Trump said: “I was to meet President Xi in two weeks, at APEC, in South Korea, but

now there seems to be no reason to do so.”
