
Jeep Compass Track Edition launched in India with cosmetic changes & new features
Jeep India has introduced a new special edition, the Compass Track Edition that gets cosmetic tweaks along with some new features on offer.
Based on the top-end Compass Model S, the Track Edition receives exterior detailing and upgraded interiors. The cabin now features Tupelo leatherette upholstery, Smoke Chrome accents, Spruce Beige contrast stitching, embossed Jeep branding and exclusive Track Edition floor mats. A Cortina leather-wrapped steering wheel, Piano Black elements and refined finishes add to the premium appeal.
On the outside, the SUV sports a signature hood decal, Piano Black trim on the grille and badges, Track Edition badging and 18-inch diamond-cut Tech Grey alloy wheels. Contrasting Spruce Beige highlights further enhance its presence.
Powering the model is the 2.0-litre MultiJet II turbo diesel engine, producing 170 HP and 350 Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 9-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can opt for both 2WD and 4WD drivetrains.
In terms of features, the Compass Track Edition continues to offer a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system with wireless smartphone integration, a 10.25-inch digital TFT instrument cluster, a premium Alpine audio system, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and electronically adjustable ventilated leather seats with memory function.
Safety equipment includes over 50 standard and available features, such as ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, advanced brake assist and all-speed traction control.
The Compass Track Edition is priced as follows (inclusive of the mandatory AXS pack of Rs. 8200):
- Compass Track MT: Rs. 26,78,200/-
- Compass Track AT: Rs. 28,64,200/-
- Compass Track AT 4×4: Rs. 30,58,200/-
