MINI launches Countryman JCW All4 in India with 300 HP turbo engine
MINI has expanded its India lineup with the introduction of the performance-oriented Countryman JCW All4, priced at Rs. 64.90 lakhs (ex-showroom). This marks the arrival of the first internal combustion engine version of the latest-generation Countryman in the country, following the debut of the all-electric Countryman in July 2024. Bookings for the JCW All4 began on September 22 and it rivals sporty hatchbacks such as the Volkswagen Golf GTI.
Powertrain and performance
The MINI Countryman JCW All4 is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that delivers 300 HP and 400 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and features an All4 all-wheel-drive system. The crossover can sprint from 0 to 100 km/hr in a claimed 5.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 250 km/hr. MINI claims a fuel efficiency of 15.4 km/l and the setup includes adaptive suspension for enhanced handling and comfort.
Exterior design
On the outside, the JCW variant gets an aggressive body kit, featuring a chequered grille, reworked bumpers and sporty 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels. Signature red accents are seen on the roof, brake calipers and detailing across the body. Other highlights include JCW badging on the C-pillars, a roof spoiler, blacked-out ‘Countryman’ lettering and a quad-exhaust system. The car is available in British Racing Green, Legend Grey and Midnight Black, with contrasting roof and mirror caps in either red or black.
Interior and features
The cabin continues the black-and-red JCW theme, featuring red contrast stitching and ambient lighting. A 9.4-inch circular OLED infotainment screen serves as the centrepiece, with JCW-specific graphics and an intuitive interface. Standard equipment includes a Harman Kardon audio system, panoramic sunroof, heads-up display, powered front seats, wireless charging, automatic climate control, auto park assist and a powered tailgate.
With its combination of performance, design and practicality, the new MINI Countryman JCW All4 brings a distinctive sporty appeal to India’s compact luxury crossover segment.
