Focus on Entrance Door

The entrance is one of the most important area, where you need to focus. It is the primary location from where Goddess Lakshmi enters. It is difficult for someone to enter if the door is messed up with the things. Firstly, you need to remove all the clutter from the entrance door such as cartons, shoe rack, useless papers or boxes. You should remove all these things, and create rangoli, light diyas and it should be well lit to invite the Goddess.

Declutter

To revitalize your energy, you need to clean up your home completely. Clan your home and throw out everything what you don’t require and useless things. You should remove these items – watches that stopped working, old calendars, electronic items that are not in use, damaged objects, useless paper, unused gadgets, torn clothes, broken mirror, and broken wooden furniture. You will experience a fresh air coming after removing all these items from the house.

Avoid Darkness

As this is the Diwali festival, the festival of lights and this is celebrated to remove the darkness from the life. On dhanteras evening, yo must light diyas facing South direction dedicated to Lord Yama. On Diwali celebration, you must light every corner of your house and avoid darkness if you really want to invite Maa Lakshmi at home. Your northeast and north west corner, entrance door, puja room, kitchen, balcony, staircase should be well lit with ghee diyas.

Protection from Evil Energy

Diwali is the most prominent festival and it is the most potent time period when negative energies are also high in the environment so you need to protect your house from those energies and to protect from negative influences, you must hang Rudraksha and Horseshoe at the front door. You must cover your entrance floor from turmeric as Lord Narasimha resides there and he protects the house from evil energy. Your kitchen is also one of the most important area which is full of energy and this is the place, where your food is prepared. This place is dedicated to the fire element, which is associated with family well-being, prosperity, and sustenance. You need to clean your kitchen and remove all the damaged utensils, stale grains, lentils and expiry food. Take rock salt water to clean the kitchen and offer prayers to your gas stove, keep a gomti chakra, silver coin in your home, light a diya with desi ghee and keep it in the south east direction of the kitchen.
