Kia has revealed the new Telluride prior to its official global debut at the upcoming 2025 Los Angeles Auto Show. Primarily aimed at the North American market, the second generation of Kia’s flagship ICE-powered SUV is larger than its predecessor and sports the Korean brand’s updated ‘Opposites United’ design language.
The Kia Telluride is closely related to the Hyundai Palisade, with which it shares its platform and powertrain. The new Telluride is, therefore, likely to be offered with the same set of petrol engines. These include a 3.5-litre NA V6 with 287hp, a 2.5-litre turbo-petrol with 281hp, and a 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid with 334hp. The six-cylinder and turbo-four mills use an 8-speed torque converter automatic, whilst the hybrid powertrain has a 6-speed AT.
