Nissan announced its plan to launch a new SUV in India by 2026. The company has now begun road testing the SUV, which was recently spotted in camouflaged form. Interestingly, the sighting also revealed the interior to observers for the first time.

Despite the heavy camouflage, the exterior showcased a muscular stance with sharp proportions and a rear spoiler. The test mule showcased 225/60 R17 tyres, wheel covers, and a rear wiper with a washer. These details suggest the model seen was likely a mid-spec variant.
Interior Details
The SUV’s interior was the biggest reveal, featuring a three-spoke steering wheel with mounted controls. The buttons on the wheel appear more premium compared to those on the Magnite. There is also a cruise control stalk behind the steering wheel.
The company equipped the test mule with manual climate control featuring physical knobs, highlighting its mid-spec positioning. Despite that, it still offered a digital instrument cluster and a height-adjustable driver’s seat. Nissan included a large infotainment display with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
