S&P 500 snaps 7-day winning streak as Wall Street’s record-setting run takes a pause

U.S. stocks finished lower on Tuesday, with the S&P 500 snapping a seven-session winning streak as Wall Street’s record-setting rally took a breather.

The S&P 500 was off 0.4% to end near 6,714, according to preliminary data from FactSet.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.2% to finish at around 46,602.

The Nasdaq Composite fell 0.7%, ending at around 22,788.
