New Lamborghini Manifesto concept previews brand’s future design direction

Lamborghini has unveiled the Manifesto concept, marking 20 years of its Centro Stile design studio. The concept is a design study, showing the future styling direction of the brand’s cars, and not a production model. The Manifesto has clean lines, a mid-engine silhouette and distinctive Y-shaped lighting.

Lamborghini design DNA

Manifesto keeps classic Lamborghini cues with a mid‑engine silouette and Y‑shaped lights.

The Manifesto retains the classic Lamborghini wedge shape and low-slung stance, but its surfaces are notably simpler and smoother than current models.

Styling focuses on aggressive aerodynamics, with a deep rear diffuser and exposed rear tyres. The concept features the brand’s signature Y-shaped light motif at both the front and rear. While it takes design cues from the Revuelto and Aventador, it trims down the detailing for a simpler, sharper look.

Centro Stile designed iconic models like the Huracan and Aventador.

Lamborghini’s Centro Stile, its in-house design studio, marked its 20th anniversary with the unveiling of the Manifesto concept. This studio is responsible for the design of iconic models like the Huracan and Aventador.

Lamborghini’s design chief, Mitja Borkert, says the new Manifesto concept is a “visionary sculpture” to show where Lamborghini design could go next. “We gave adrenaline a shape,” Borkert said.

He didn’t reveal technical details, describing the car instead as a showcase of Lamborghini’s future design direction. Like the 2017 Terzo Millennio, which shaped the Revuelto and Temerario, the Manifesto will guide design cues for future models.
