The 2026 Kawasaki Ninja 250 and Z250 have been unveiled in the Japanese market, introducing fresh color options over last year’s models. The Ninja 250 is now offered in two new shades – a grey finish with fluorescent green accents, and a bold white with red accents. Meanwhile, the Z250 takes a subtler route with a single, all-black colorway.

Both motorcycles remain mechanically unchanged, continuing with the 248cc parallel-twin engine that produces 35hp at 12,500rpm and 22Nm at 10,500rpm. Features include a digi-analogue instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity via Kawasaki’s Rideology app, which enables call alerts and displays ride statistics. Hardware is carried forward as well, with a 41mm telescopic fork at the front, a rear monoshock, and braking duties managed by a 310mm front disc and 220mm rear disc.

While previous iterations of the Kawasaki Ninja 250 and Z250 were sold in India, both have since been discontinued. The faired Ninja 300 now serves as the entry point into the Ninja family here, while the Z650 remains the most affordable model in the brand’s ‘Z’ naked lineup for our market.
