Shares of GE Vernova Inc. surged in early Wednesday trading, putting it on track to snap a record losing streak, as the power and renewable-energy company reported third-quarter revenue and orders that beat Wall Street projections by wide margins.
Revenue from all three of the company’s
GEV business segments beat expectations, amid particularly strong demand for electric-grid equipment. And while the wind business saw a decline in revenue, it beat expectations as orders increased.
