Two-wheeler sales figures for September 2025 have arrived and most manufacturers have posted strong numbers, not just thanks to the anticipated festive season push but also because of the revised GST and ensuing price cuts. 

Hero MotoCorp

Hero sold 6,87,220 two-wheelers in September 2025

Hero MotoCorp claimed the top spot in September with 6,87,220 units dispatched, marking an 8 percent growth compared to the 6,37,050 units sold in September 2024. The Indian manufacturer also achieved a landmark milestone, becoming the first to surpass 125 million cumulative two-wheeler production.

The company also mentioned that showroom footfall more than doubled compared to the previous festive season. 

Export numbers are also impressive with its highest ever quarterly dispatch of 1,11,584 units, with September exports reaching 39,638 units – a 94.8 percent increase over the same period last year.

Honda

Honda sold 5,68,164 two-wheelers in September 2025

Honda reported total sales of 5,68,164 units in September 2025, comprising 5,05,693 units in domestic sales and 62,471 units in exports. The company registered a 6 percent month-on-month growth compared to August 2025. Total sales this fiscal year, from April to September 2025, stand at 29,91,024 units. 

TVS

TVS sold 5,23,923 units two-wheelers in September 2025

TVS Motor Company reported monthly two-wheeler sales of 5,23,923 units in September 2025, reflecting an 11 percent growth over the 4,71,792 units sold in September 2024.

Of this, domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 4,13,279 units, marking a 12 percent increase from 3,69,138 units in the same month last year.

The company’s EV portfolio, comprising the TVS iQube and the recently launched Orbiter, also continued its upward trajectory, registering an 8 percent YoY growth, rising from 28,901 units in September 2024 to 31,266 units this year. With this, TVS has maintained its position as the market leader in electric two-wheeler sales in India for the sixth consecutive month.

Bajaj

Bajaj sold 4,30,853 two-wheelers in September 2025

Bajaj Auto reported two-wheeler sales of 4,30,853 units in September 2025, representing an 8 percent increase over 4,00,489 units sold in September 2024. Domestic two-wheeler sales stood at 2,73,188 units (5 percent growth), while exports reached 1,57,665 units (12 percent growth).

Royal Enfield

Royal Enfield sold 1,24,328 two-wheelers in September 2025

Royal Enfield posted monthly sales of 1,24,328 motorcycles in September 2025, marking a 43 percent growth over 86,978 units sold in September 2024. This represents the brand’s best ever monthly sales figures in its history. Domestic sales stood at 1,13,573 units (43 percent growth), while exports reached 10,755 motorcycles (41 percent growth).

Suzuki

Suzuki sold 1,23,550 two-wheelers in September 2025

Suzuki recorded total sales of 1,23,550 units in September 2025, marking a 25 percent year-on-year growth over 99,185 units sold in September 2024. Of this, 1,05,886 units were from domestic sales with a 37 percent growth compared to 77,263 units in September 2024. On the other hand, the company exported 17,664 units this past month versus the 21,922 from September last year – a 19.4 percent decline.
